Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to join an ongoing project supporting enterprise data initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, governing, and standardizing master and reference data across key business domains, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment between business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise master and reference data standards, models, and hierarchies
- Establish and implement data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, and approval workflows
- Manage golden record creation, matching logic, and survivorship rules
- Drive data quality initiatives including rule definition, monitoring, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to align on data definitions, policies, and usage standards
- Guide data integration and synchronization strategies across multiple systems
- Ensure proper documentation of data models, metadata, and business glossary
- Act as the central authority for data standardization across multiple domains
- Support ongoing MDM project activities and ensure timely delivery within defined timelines
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Management
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise data standardization and domain data management
- Solid understanding of:
- Master & Reference Data lifecycle
- Data modeling concepts
- Data quality frameworks
- Experience with MDM tools such as:
- Informatica MDM
- SAP MDG
- IBM MDM or similar platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on short-term or transformation-driven MDM projects
- Exposure to enterprise-level data governance frameworks
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
