Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ESL (ESLint) Developer to ensure code quality, consistency, maintainability, and performance across large-scale JavaScript and TypeScript codebases. The role will focus on developing custom ESLint rules and plugins, enforcing coding standards, and supporting scalable front-end engineering, particularly within large-scale e-commerce applications.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain ESLint rules and configurations.
Build custom ESLint rules and plugins based on development and coding standards.
Define and enforce coding standards across JavaScript and TypeScript applications.
Identify code-quality, consistency, maintainability, and performance issues.
Build and maintain reusable ESLint configurations across multiple projects.
Integrate ESLint and automated code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Optimize linting processes for large codebases and monorepos.
Troubleshoot ESLint configurations, parsers, plugins, and dependency issues.
Support ESLint upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvements.
Collaborate with front-end development teams to improve overall development and code-quality standards.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ESLint.
Experience developing custom ESLint rules and plugins.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Good understanding of AST and static code analysis.
Experience with modern front-end development, preferably React.js.
Experience with Git and npm/Yarn/pnpm.
Experience integrating code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with large-scale JavaScript/TypeScript codebases.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with large-scale e-commerce applications.
Knowledge of Next.js and Node.js.
Experience with Nx or Turborepo.
Knowledge of Prettier and Stylelint.
Experience with SonarQube or similar code-quality tools.
Experience with Husky and lint-staged.
Knowledge of Jest or similar testing frameworks.
Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
