Position: Technical Project Manager

📍 Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and data-driven projects for enterprise and renowned clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong PMI-based project management expertise, practical Agile delivery experience, and the ability to stay hands-on technically while managing scope, budget, risks, and stakeholders across onshore/offshore/nearshore delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects in alignment with PMI standards and best practices

• Drive Agile and hybrid delivery models, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles

• Own end-to-end project delivery covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management

• Deliver large-scale technology and data projects for enterprise or well-known clients

• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L tracking

• Ensure effective project governance, including:

  • Change management

  • Risk & issue management

  • Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Release and incident management processes

• Lead and mentor medium-sized teams across onshore, offshore, and nearshore models

• Actively use and manage project tools such as:

  • MS Project / MS Schedule

  • JIRA

  • SharePoint

  • Git and related repositories

  • Incident management tools

• Maintain high-quality project documentation (plans, RAID logs, status reports, governance decks)

• Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, estimations, solution planning, and client discussions

• Collaborate closely with technical teams and remain ready for hands-on involvement when required

• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams

• Uphold strong ethical standards, demonstrating flexibility, proactiveness, and accountability

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 8+ years of overall project management experience in technology-driven environments

• Strong understanding and practical application of PMI frameworks

• Proven experience delivering projects using Agile / Scrum / Hybrid methodologies

• Solid experience managing project financials and P&L

• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools

• Demonstrated success in leading distributed teams across multiple geographies

• Strong exposure to PMO functions and governance models

• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / PMI-ACP / Prince2 / Scrum Master certification

• Experience in data, analytics, cloud, or enterprise technology projects

• Strong client-facing and pre-sales exposure

• Experience working with international clients
