Integration & Implementation Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Integration & Implementation Specialist to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade integrations across platform components, including the ETL Layer, Open Data Portal, API Gateway, AI/ML Repository, and external data providers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless system interoperability, reliable data exchange, API integration, and secure connectivity between internal and external systems. The role requires expertise in enterprise integration technologies, middleware platforms, API frameworks, and data exchange architectures to support large-scale digital transformation and government data platform initiatives in accordance with SOW 4.1–4.8.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical integration expertise, a deep understanding of enterprise systems, and proven experience delivering integration solutions for large-scale government or enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration & Implementation
- Design, develop, and implement integrations between platform components, including:
- ETL Layer
- Open Data Portal
- API Gateway
- AI/ML Repository
- External Data Providers
- Government Systems
- Ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability across multiple systems and applications.
- Develop integration strategies and implementation plans aligned with project requirements.
- Support deployment, configuration, testing, and production rollout of integration solutions.
API Integration & Data Exchange
- Design and implement API-based integrations following industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain data exchange mechanisms between internal and external systems.
- Ensure API interoperability, reliability, and performance.
- Manage API consumption, monitoring, and integration lifecycle activities.
- Support integration with third-party and government-owned systems.
Middleware & Enterprise Integration
- Design and manage enterprise integration solutions utilizing middleware and integration platforms.
- Implement message routing, transformation, orchestration, and service mediation capabilities.
- Ensure secure and reliable communication across distributed systems.
- Support service-oriented and event-driven integration architectures.
Data Integration & Interoperability
- Design and support data integration frameworks for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Implement data synchronization, transformation, and validation processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across integrated systems.
- Collaborate with ETL, data engineering, and analytics teams to support end-to-end data flows.
Performance, Security & Reliability
- Ensure secure integration of systems and services using industry-standard authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Monitor integration performance and resolve bottlenecks and connectivity issues.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for integration services.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and data governance policies.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery requirements for integration services.
Project Delivery (SOW 4.1 – 4.8)
- Collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, and project teams to deliver integration workstreams.
- Participate in solution design workshops, technical reviews, and implementation planning sessions.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Ensure all integration deliverables meet quality, security, and performance requirements.
- Contribute to project reporting, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
