Position: Senior Regulatory & Legal Reform Expert
Experience: 12+ Years
Role Summary
The Senior Regulatory & Legal Reform Expert will lead legal and regulatory reviews, harmonization initiatives, and legislative drafting activities supporting business process simplification and digital government reforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal and regulatory gap assessments.
- Review Acts, Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Policies, and Administrative Orders.
- Draft new legislation and amendments.
- Prepare Rules, Notifications, SOPs, and subsidiary legislation.
- Recommend regulatory simplification initiatives.
- Lead regulatory harmonization across Federal and Provincial jurisdictions.
- Prepare legal compliance reports.
- Support digitization of regulatory processes.
- Advise technical teams on legal interpretations affecting system design.
Required Qualifications
- LLB (Mandatory)
- LLM preferred
Required Experience
- Minimum 12 years of legal and regulatory reform experience.
- Demonstrated experience drafting:
- Acts
- Rules
- Notifications
- Regulations
- Government Policies
- Extensive experience reviewing regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting regulatory modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with Pakistan's constitutional, administrative, and regulatory legal systems.
- Experience on donor-funded governance reform projects preferred.
