Next.js Developer / Frontend Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Next.js Developer to develop modern, scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern frontend development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and React.
Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality frontend components.
Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and client-side rendering where appropriate.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional web pages.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO, and usability.
Implement authentication, authorization, routing, and application state management.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform code optimization.
Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and follow frontend development standards.
Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business teams.
Support application deployment and CI/CD processes.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
Strong experience with React.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+.
Experience with TypeScript.
Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience developing responsive web applications.
Experience integrating REST APIs.
Good understanding of:
- SSR
- SSG
- Client-Side Rendering
- Routing
- Component-based architecture
Experience with state management solutions such as:
- Redux
- Redux Toolkit
- Context API
- Zustand or similar
Experience with Git/version control.
Understanding of frontend performance optimization.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or similar UI frameworks.
GraphQL.
Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
Node.js knowledge.
Authentication using OAuth/OIDC/JWT.
Docker.
CI/CD pipelines.
Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
Headless CMS integration.
Accessibility standards such as WCAG.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
