Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 5–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and analytics, along with the ability to transform complex business requirements into meaningful insights.

The candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder communication skills, and hands-on experience working with enterprise-scale BI environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to deliver effective BI solutions.
• Develop data models, relationships, KPIs, and calculated measures using DAX.
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards for business users and leadership teams.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from multiple data sources.
• Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
• Schedule report refreshes, monitor performance, and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Support ad-hoc reporting, analytics requests, and business decision-making processes.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, visualization trends, and BI technologies.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Expertise in:

• Strong SQL querying and database management skills.
• Experience working with:
  • SQL Server
  • Azure Data Services
  • Excel & Data Analytics tools
  • APIs and third-party data integrations
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of reports and datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting and analytics projects is highly desirable.
