Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Technical Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Data Quality (DQ) and Data Governance (DG) solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The role will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, enabling governance frameworks, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and data marts.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality & Governance Implementation

• Lead the design and implementation of Data Quality (DQ) rules within IDMC.
• Validate rule execution, monitor outcomes, and ensure continuous improvement of data quality metrics.
• Define and standardize templates for:
  • Data Quality rules
  • Business glossary
  • Technical metadata
  • Metadata associations
• Implement and manage DG/DQ workflows within IDMC.
• Enable IDMC Marketplace for governed data discovery and access.

Architecture & Data Engineering

• Design end-to-end logical and physical architecture for Data Governance and Data Quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and develop DQ/DG data marts and data pipelines to compute and expose KPIs.
• Analyze data lineage, transformations, and integration points across the data ecosystem.
• Perform deep-dive technical analysis of source systems and datasets.

IDMC Platform & Configuration

• Lead configuration and administration of the IDMC tenant.
• Configure and manage CDGC (Cloud Data Governance & Catalog) and Data Quality services.
• Configure and execute DG scanners to ingest metadata into IDMC.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability of cataloged data assets.

Data Profiling & Analysis

• Lead enterprise-wide data profiling initiatives to identify and assess data quality issues.
• Ensure proper mapping of data ownership to systems and data assets.
• Analyze and document data domains and sub-domains for onboarding into IDMC.

Integration & Pipeline Development

• Implement DQ rules and integrate them with upstream and downstream systems.
• Design scalable data integration patterns leveraging enterprise data lake architectures.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for DQ processes.

Reporting & Visualization

• Lead the development of dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for DQ/DG monitoring and reporting.
• Deliver actionable insights through KPI-driven reporting frameworks.

Training & Support

• Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions for platform administrators and technical teams.
• Support functional training for business users in collaboration with Data Governance teams.
• Provide technical leadership during hypercare phase, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in data engineering, data governance, or data quality domains.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, including:
  • Data Quality (DQ)
  • Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)
• Strong experience in data profiling, metadata management, and data lineage analysis.
• Experience designing data marts and working with enterprise data lake architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
