Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to support enterprise-wide Data Governance, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Classification, and Data Quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing and administering modern data management platforms while ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks.

The successful candidate must possess practical implementation experience with enterprise data governance and data quality solutions and be willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Data Catalog & Metadata Management

  • Implement, configure, and administer enterprise Data Catalog solutions.
  • Maintain automated metadata management processes to ensure metadata accuracy, consistency, and discoverability.
  • Inventory, classify, document, and tag enterprise data assets across multiple platforms.
  • Design and maintain metadata models, business glossary, taxonomy, and catalog structures.
  • Improve data discoverability through metadata enrichment and standardized classifications.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure metadata accurately represents enterprise data assets.
  • Configure metadata ingestion, scanning, and synchronization processes.


Data Governance

  • Configure, administer, and monitor enterprise Data Governance platforms.
  • Support implementation of governance policies, workflows, approvals, and stewardship processes.
  • Enable governance dashboards, compliance monitoring, and policy enforcement.
  • Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams.
  • Ensure governance documentation complies with organizational standards.
  • Support implementation of data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.
  • Monitor governance KPIs and drive continuous process improvement.


Data Classification & Regulatory Compliance

  • Implement enterprise-wide data classification frameworks.
  • Configure and publish classification labels across data assets.
  • Support implementation of data sensitivity, confidentiality, and criticality classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • SDAIA
    • NDMO
    • PDPL
    • Other applicable Saudi regulatory standards
  • Support compliance reporting and audit readiness.


Data Quality Management

  • Configure and administer enterprise Data Quality platforms.
  • Perform comprehensive data profiling and quality assessments.
  • Design and implement reusable Data Quality rules.
  • Build automated validation rules and quality checks.
  • Configure workflows for issue management and remediation.
  • Develop automated monitoring, alerts, and exception reporting.
  • Identify root causes of data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve enterprise data quality.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop Data Quality dashboards and KPI scorecards.
  • Produce governance, catalog, and compliance reports.
  • Integrate Data Quality tools with BI and reporting platforms.
  • Monitor enterprise data health and quality trends.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business users to define Data Quality rules.
  • Work with Data Stewards and Custodians to implement governance processes.
  • Support business adoption of governance and quality tools.
  • Conduct user enablement sessions and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical guidance on metadata, catalog, governance, and quality best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.
