Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to facilitate Agile delivery, foster high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Scrum ceremonies, sprint management, impediment resolution, Agile coaching, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of business and technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Manage sprint planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Remove impediments and blockers that impact team productivity and delivery.
- Coach Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team environment.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and Agile metrics to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Support backlog refinement and ensure user stories are well-defined and prioritized.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align project goals and expectations.
- Promote Agile best practices, governance, and delivery standards across multiple teams.
- Identify risks and dependencies, facilitating proactive resolution and stakeholder communication.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
- Hands-on experience with Sprint Management, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
- Proven ability in Impediment Removal and risk mitigation.
- Experience providing Agile Coaching to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Strong skills in Stakeholder Alignment, communication, and expectation management.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira OR Azure DevOps OR Rally.
- Strong facilitation, leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience coaching multiple Agile teams in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale frameworks.
- Experience with Agile metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or enterprise modernization programs.
- Scrum certifications such as PSM, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 6–12+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Project Management, or Agile Delivery roles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives across enterprise organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to mentor teams and drive organizational Agile maturity.
- Experience working in cross-functional, distributed, and global teams.
- Passion for continuous improvement, servant leadership, and Agile excellence.
