Job Title: BI Developer (Offshore) 

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality dashboards and analytical reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud, translating functional specifications into scalable and user-friendly BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Build and manage datasets, subject areas, and semantic models.
• Implement business logic including KPIs, calculated metrics, and data transformations.
• Translate functional specifications into effective visualizations and reports.
• Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Apply best practices in data visualization and dashboard design.
• Collaborate closely with BA/BI Consultants to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot data/reporting issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7+ years of experience in BI development or data visualization roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Solid experience in dashboard development and data visualization best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying for data extraction and validation.
• Good understanding of data models, joins, and basic ETL concepts.
• Ability to interpret and implement functional and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with onshore teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in finance or banking domain
• Exposure to other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working in offshore delivery models
