Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a dynamic technology team in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, backend systems, and data processing, with the ability to build scalable and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend systems.
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, frontend developers, and product teams.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data engineering or working with big data tools (Spark, Kafka).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to machine learning or data analytics is a plus.
- Experience working in international or distributed teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
