Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AEM Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise websites, portals, and content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites, component and template development, Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, and modern front-end technologies. The developer will work closely with architects, UI/UX teams, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences.

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of software/web development experience with strong hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience.
• Strong experience with AEM Sites and AEM component development.
• Hands-on experience developing:
  • Components
  • Templates
  • Editable Templates
  • Dialogs
  • Content Fragments
  • Experience Fragments
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Sling and OSGi.
• Good understanding of JCR (Java Content Repository) and AEM repository structure.
• Experience with HTL/Sightly.
• Experience developing Sling Models, Servlets, Services, Schedulers, and OSGi configurations.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and third-party/external systems.
• Understanding of AEM authoring and publishing environments.
• Experience with Git and standard CI/CD development practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching, and CDN concepts.
• Experience with headless AEM and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Experience with React or Angular integration with AEM.
• Understanding of AEM security, permissions, users, and groups.
• Knowledge of automated testing and code-quality tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to DevOps and automated deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain websites, portals, and content-management solutions using AEM.
• Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly digital experiences based on UI/UX specifications.
• Develop and maintain integrations between AEM and external enterprise systems using REST APIs and other integration approaches.
• Work with content authors and business teams to develop efficient content-authoring experiences.
• Develop and manage Content Fragments and Experience Fragments where required.
• Ensure AEM solutions follow development standards, reusable design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Optimize application performance, caching, content delivery, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AEM application, integration, deployment, and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning.
• Collaborate with AEM Architects, Front-End Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, UX/UI Designers, and business stakeholders.
• Support deployments across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation for components, integrations, configurations, and development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
