Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale Data Platform and Digital Government initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project leadership, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW 4.1–4.8).
The ideal candidate should possess strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects within government, public sector, or development-funded environments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for project execution and delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising business, technical, and vendor resources.
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
- Drive project performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between project sponsors, business stakeholders, government entities, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and stakeholder workshops.
- Ensure effective communication of project status, risks, issues, and key decisions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts proactively.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Delivery (SOW 4.1 – 4.8)
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables within approved scope, budget, and timelines.
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Coordinate activities across technical, business, and vendor teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Oversee contractor and vendor performance against contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with project governance standards, quality requirements, and reporting obligations.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
