Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist
Experience: 7+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to develop and implement data privacy frameworks, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, conduct privacy risk assessments, and support enterprise-wide data protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct privacy compliance assessments, risk assessments, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations (GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, etc.).
• Maintain Personal Data Inventories and Data Flow Maps.
• Promote Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, Risk, and business teams on privacy initiatives.
• Deliver privacy awareness and training programs.

Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, or Information Governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, or similar privacy regulations.
• Hands-on experience with DPIAs, Privacy Risk Assessments, Data Mapping, and Compliance Assessments.
• Experience developing and implementing data privacy policies and governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Privacy by Design, Data Minimization, Purpose Limitation, and Data Subject Rights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, or ISO 27701.
• Experience with OneTrust, BigID, Microsoft Purview, or similar privacy platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, and Data Governance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and privacy controls.
