About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with hands-on experience in the LangGraph and LangChain ecosystem to join our growing AI and Data team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have experience building agentic AI applications, orchestrating complex workflows, integrating LLMs, and developing enterprise-grade AI solutions. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Tableau, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications using the LangGraph and LangChain ecosystem.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent workflows, AI assistants, and autonomous agent systems.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions leveraging enterprise data sources.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) from Azure OpenAI and other leading AI platforms.
• Implement memory management, tool calling, agent routing, and workflow orchestration capabilities.
• Design and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and tools to enable secure access to enterprise systems.
• Build AI solutions that interact with Tableau dashboards, reports, and analytics platforms.
• Develop APIs and backend services to support AI-driven applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, observability, and security.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of software development experience with at least 2 years focused on Generative AI solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience building AI agents, agent orchestration frameworks, and RAG applications.
• Proficiency in Python and modern API development frameworks.
• Experience integrating Azure OpenAI Services and Azure AI ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience implementing and integrating MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and tools.
• Experience working with Tableau APIs, metadata, dashboards, and analytics integrations.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or Azure AI Search.
• Knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with observability tools, AI monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with multi-agent architectures and workflow automation platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise data governance and security best practices.
