Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Tech Lead Data to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of large-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Data Warehousing, ETL frameworks, Big Data ecosystems, and self-service analytics, with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise initiatives in telecom or similar industries.

This role requires strong architecture leadership, the ability to drive end-to-end data solutions, and close collaboration with business, engineering, and governance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the design and vetting of enterprise-level data architectures ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives

• Define and maintain architecture roadmaps for data ecosystems and technology refresh initiatives

• Design logical and physical data models aligned with industry standards (e.g., Teradata CIDM)

• Drive architecture decisions for large transformation programs and platform migrations

Data Engineering & Platforms

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows for batch and near-real-time processing

• Lead development using Teradata utilities, GCFR frameworks, SLJM, Informatica, Spark, and Big Data/Cloudera

• Optimize data pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability

• Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring processes

Data Warehouse & Analytics

• Architect and develop enterprise data warehouses and data marts

• Enable self-service BI and analytics for business users using tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, QlikView

• Automate reporting and dashboard frameworks to reduce manual intervention and improve turnaround time

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance across platforms

• Design secure architectures incorporating access control, encryption, and best practices

• Work closely with governance and QA teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor cross-functional data engineering and analytics teams

• Act as a technical advisor for business stakeholders and senior leadership

• Coordinate with multiple squads for delivery, UAT, and production rollouts

• Support product owners and project managers in planning and execution

• Telecom industry experience (Postpaid, Prepaid, CVM, BSS, DWH)

• Large-scale technology migration or modernization projects

• Experience leading Informatica sunset / platform consolidation initiatives

• Exposure to self-service analytics enablement for enterprise users
