Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior BI / Tableau Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and manage enterprise-grade analytics and self-service BI platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Teradata, and modern BI ecosystems, along with a deep understanding of data visualization best practices, performance optimization, and analytics governance.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, strong ownership of BI platforms, and the ability to deliver high-impact dashboards and reporting solutions for large organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Tableau & BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports for enterprise use

• Administer Tableau Server, including user management, security roles, and performance tuning

• Optimize Tableau extracts, data sources, and dashboards for scalability and efficiency

• Apply data visualization best practices to deliver intuitive, actionable insights

Self-Service Analytics

• Enable and enhance self-service BI capabilities for business users

• Design semantic layers and reusable datasets to simplify data consumption

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytics solutions

• Support documentation, training, and adoption of self-service analytics platforms

MicroStrategy & Multi-BI Environment

• Design and develop MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects

• Manage BI project architecture, public objects, and metadata

• Perform performance tuning and optimization across BI platforms

• Support environments with multiple BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, QlikSense, Power BI)

Data Integration & Performance

• Integrate BI tools with various data sources including Teradata, SQL Server, Vertica, and cloud platforms

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards

• Collaborate with data engineering teams for data modeling and pipeline optimization

Governance & Collaboration

• Implement data governance, security, and access controls across BI platforms

• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and business users

• Troubleshoot BI issues and provide timely resolution
