Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing enterprise-level data models for banking data warehouses. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, analytics, and ETL teams to ensure data models are scalable, consistent, and aligned with business and technical requirements. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory for stakeholder interaction and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain logical and physical data models for enterprise data warehouses in banking environments
Develop enterprise-wide and subject-area data models, including:
Customer
Account
Transaction
Product
Model facts, dimensions, hierarchies, and conformed dimensions to support analytics and reporting
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models
Perform data profiling and validation using strong SQL skills to ensure data quality and consistency
Ensure alignment between data models and ETL/ELT processes, including transformation logic implemented using Informatica
Support data governance, standards, and best practices across the data warehouse
Review and optimize existing data models for performance and scalability
Document data models clearly for technical and business users (Arabic & English)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling (mandatory)
Strong experience in banking domain data warehouses
Expertise in logical and physical data modeling
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)
Hands-on SQL expertise for data analysis and validation
Experience working with Informatica ETL/ELT processes
Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and best practices
Arabic language proficiency – mandatory
Good communication skills in English
