Role Summary

We are hiring a seasoned IBM DataStage Developer to design, build, and optimize ETL workflows for large-scale data integration projects. The candidate should have deep technical knowledge of DataStage parallel jobs, performance tuning, and enterprise data models.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL jobs using IBM DataStage (parallel and server jobs).
• Participate in requirement analysis, data mapping, and solution design.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
• Develop reusable components and frameworks to streamline ETL processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and other development teams.
• Support production ETL processes and on-call rotations.
• Document ETL designs, standards, and best practices.
   

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8 years of DataStage development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with PX (Parallel Extender).

• Excellent SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, Teradata, etc.).

• Solid understanding of ETL best practices and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience in performance tuning and debugging parallel jobs.

• Exposure to Linux/Unix scripting and scheduling tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
