Job Summary:

We are seeking an Informatica Installation Engineer to handle the installation, configuration, and environment setup of Informatica platforms. This role is critical in ensuring smooth deployment and integration of Informatica tools within the client’s IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fresh installations and environment setup for Informatica tools.

  • Configure services, repositories, and integration components.

  • Support system upgrades, patches, and environment migration.

  • Work with the IT infrastructure team for server provisioning and configuration.

  • Conduct post-installation testing and validation.

  • Document installation procedures and provide operational handover.

  • Ensure all setups comply with organization security and performance standards.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.

  • 4+ years of experience in Informatica installation and configuration.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems, Oracle/SQL databases, and application servers.

  • Knowledge of network configuration, firewalls, and security certificates.

  • Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills.
